KARACHI: At least two suspects were taken into custody by law enforcement agencies (LEA) in the early hours of Monday, said sources.
Abdul Raheem who is accused of extortion was arrested by authorities as numbers of cases were reported against him in the Iqbal Market police station. The accused was shifted to an undisclosed location for further inquiry.
In another operation a political activist, Ateeq was arrested in Orangi Town number 5 but as per reports, the reasons behind his arrest are not yet disclosed.
