LAHORE: A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court (SC) requesting it to summon Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Panama leaks case to record his statement.
Barrister Javed Iqbal has filed the petition before the Lahore registry of the apex court. The petitioner contended that premier Sharif had been involved in money laundering causing a loss to national exchequer. He requested the court to order the prime minister to appear in person before the court and prove his innocence in Pamanagate case.
