ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan derided on Wednesday Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s presence at the World Economic Forum, pointing out the hilarity of him giving a lecture on corruption.
The PTI chief said that if Nawaz could give a talk on corruption then Altaf Hussain should also be invited to give a lecture on how to curb terrorism.
Khan also said that one more steel mill had emerged during court proceedings, adding that it was a victory for the country that the Supreme Court (SC) had started questioning Sharif family.
He maintained that the SC bench was competent enough to give a final verdict, noting that this case would decide the future of Pakistan.
The PTI chairman said that the premier’s stance had changed as soon as he was brought to SC to answer questions regarding corruption.
Khan further highlighted that the Sharif family had said that the deal being questioned in court had been completed in February; however the stamp paper used on the agreement had been bought in March, which proved that Ishaq Dar was involved in money laundering for Nawaz Sharif.
