DUBAI The process of release of Pakistani prisoners was completed on Wednesday through the collaborative work of ShahidAfridi Foundation and Dubai Police Department.
ShahidAfridithanked the Dubai Police Department for their generosity and willingness to help with regards to the release of Pakistani prisoners.
ShahidAfridi through his official facebook page said,”I am very thankful to the Dubai Police Department, who havebeen very compassionate and graceful to initiate the release of Pakistani prisoners and to give them a chance to go back to their home country and to rebuild their life afresh.”
ShahidAfridi has moved his attention from cricket towards the welfare and helping of the poor through his foundation. He also visited the Rashid Peadiatric Centre for Special Children along with Emirati sport shooter Sheikh Juma al Maktoum.
