KARACHI: Muhammad Zubair took oath as the 32nd Sindh Governor on Thursday evening.
Sindh High Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah administered the oath.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, State Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb, Capital Administration and Development Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Senator Nihal Hashmi, PML-N MNAs and leaders of various political parties and notables attended the ceremony.
Talking to media at the Mazar-e-Quaid, the newly appointed governor said that he make efforts to come up to the people’s expectation. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif felicitated Muhammad Zubair on assuming charge of his responsibilities as Governor Sindh.
