Ahmedpur East: A railway team comprising Vigilance Railways Director Saima Bashir and Multan Division Commercial Railway Officer Nabeela Aslam reached Kulab Railway Station on Thursday and probed into the stolen coal case.
According to details, the railway officials had observed smoke coming out from a bogie of a train carrying coal from Karachi to Sahiwal Coal Plant. After investigating the matter it was revealed that a complete bogie of coal was stolen.
The matter was reported to high ups of the railway department and police also rushed to the scene. Railway authorities are reluctant to tell any detail and it is suspected that the coal might be stolen at some small railway station.
