GILGIT: According to police sources, unknown attackers shot at and set on fire the house of a National Accountability Bureau in Jodial area of Gilgit-Baltistan on Wednesday morning.
According to Station House Officer Syed Murtaza Shah, the house belonged to NAB Deputy Director Coordination (DDC) Abdul Majid. The attackers shot through a window and set fire to a portion of the house.
According to the police, the NAB official and other people in the house remained safe.
According to the police, initial investigation revealed that Abdul Majid was examining some major corruption cases in (GB).
Police said a case will be registered against unknown attackers.
