ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Senator Saeed Ghani has alleged that the National Accountability Bureau was serving the corrupt elements in the country.
Senator Ghani in a statement issued by PPP Media Office Islamabad said that former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain was languishing in prison for the last two years without any reason as no allegation against him has been proved yet. He said that fictitious cases were initiated against him in a bid to politically victimize him. He accused the Nawaz government of using NAB for political victimization.
The senator said that NAB was unmoved despite mega corruption scams reported in Nandipur Power Project and embezzlement of billions of rupees in Metro Bus projects.
