MUNICH: Defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said the West’s policies to watch from a distance and not support the war against terror would only help terrorist networks grow.Speaking at a panel discussion regarding terrorism and extremism, Asif stated that more than 90 percent people killed by terrorists are Muslims.

The panel consisted of United States Secretary of Homeland Security, German Interior Minister and European Union commissioner for Security Union along with Nigeria’s National Security Advisor.
A large number of renowned personalities and individuals are taking part in the ongoing conference being held in Munich including UN Secretary-General António Guterres, EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and the Presidents of Afghanistan and Ukraine
As well as Microsoft founder Bill Gates and singer and Singer turned activist Bono.
Senior officials and premiers of several other countries including China, Norway, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Iran are also taking part in the conference.
