TAMBOO: Nine people, lodged under illegal confinement in City Police Station Dera Murad Jamali, were recovered on the orders of District and Session Judge Nasirabad.
Station House Officer is still on his post.
According to details, people were arrested from hotels or bazaars; and those coming from rural areas were arrested after being declared as suspects.
On disappearance of dozens of people, relatives of the disappeared told Nasirabad District and Session Judge that police have arrested their relatives during various actions.
A team of the court conducted a raid at City Police Station and recovered 9 people kept under illegal confinement. They were lodged in secret rooms instead of lockup of police station.
Sources said that after the raid, dozens of other people were also set free. But SHO City was working on his post and no departmental action has been taken yet.
