LAHORE Javed Hamid, Project director of the Greater Iqbal Park Lahore, was shot in Lahore by unidentified men this morning.
According to the hospital services at Services Hospital, Hamid was shot twice in the legs.
Hamid was on his way to his office this morning when the shooting took place. Two men on two motorcycles fired at him near Sheranwala gate.
Hamid in his statement said that the men tried to stop him but when he did not they shot at him.
Hamid’s condition is said to be out of danger now by hospital sources.
An investigation has been initiated by the police but it is too early to make any concrete speculations about the incident.
