MULTAN: An anti-drugs task force unearthed a factory preparing fake and substandard medicines.
A team of the Health Department – led by Drug Inspector Junaid Mehmood– on Monday raided a factory located at Surijkund road where fake medicines were being prepared.
The team recovered a large quantity of injectable drugs and fake cough syrups. District Coordinating Officer (DCO) Nadir Chathha appreciated the team’s performance and reiterated strict action against those found involved in manufacturing substandard medicines.
