Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday gave Imran Khan and Hamza Shahbaz till February 27 to file their replies in reference to alleged violation of the electoral code of conduct in the by polls.
A 5-member bench of the ECP, under the supervision of the chief election commissioner, was created to hear the references filed by district returning officers against Shahbaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Khan in regards to the violation of the code of conduct during the by polls.
Counsels for the two politicians requested the ECP to give them time to file their replies.
The ECP accepted their requests and subsequently adjourned the hearing until February 27.
