ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has sent a summary to Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana for deployment of Rangers in the province.
In a statement, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said the Rangers have been called for deployment in the province for sixty days. He said Rangers will be provided powers under the Anti-Terrorism Act. He further added that the apex committee will decide about areas of the proposed operation.
