GUJRANWALA: At least four people, two women and two children, died after a roof collapsed at Salamat Pura Kamoki Gujranwala.
Asia Bibi and her children were at her parents’ home when the roof of a room collapsed. Resultantly, 50-year-old Nazeeran, 30-year-old Asia, three-year-old Salman and two-month-old Koko died on the spot while five-year-old Ayesha was injured.
Separately, a man was gunned down while four injured in crossfire between two groups in Ali Pur Chatha.
Ejaz asked some youths not to make noise in front of his house which led to a quarrel. Ejaz was killed while Touqeer, Aslam, Zia and Riaz were injured.
Meanwhile, robbers in police uniform deprived a family of gold ornaments, cash and cell phones in Aroop police precinct. Raza, a resident of Chanike, said he along with his family was going home when three robbers in police uniform stopped his car and looted Rs 28,000 and gold ornaments.
