LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Labour Wing President Rana Salim Niaz and a delegation of the party’s social media group called on Pakistan Muslim League senior leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence on Saturday and announced joining his party.
Welcoming them in PML, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that his government in Punjab launched Rescue 1122 like other successful projects, and it would launch further such public welfare programmes if elected to power again. He said that there was need for presenting these welfare projects in a better way on social media because this is an era of technology.
He said that the PML government also did a lot of work on jail reforms, and improved food and residential facilities for the prisoners.
