ISLAMABAD: 900 Islamabad Police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel will perform duty on Christmas on Sunday, 25 December in the federal capital.
According to a police source, comprehensive security arrangements had been made to ensure foolproof security around churches and other public places on Christmas.
Mobile Eagle, Falcon Squads and Police Commandos would ensure security by patrolling the areas near churches. Security had also been tightened at all entry and exit points of the capital to avoid any untoward incident during the occasion.
In addition, police officers in plain clothes would also perform duty. Strict action would also be taken against beggars and suspects along with checking being done of hotels and guest houses.
