ISLAMABAD: Thunderstorm and snowfall is expected at a number of places in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Islamabad, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at scattered places in Sindh during the next 24 hours.
According to an official of met office on Tuesday, isolated heavy downpour is also forecast in Makran, Kalat, Quetta, Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions and Kashmir. A strong westerly wave is prevailing over the country. This westerly wave is expected to produce more rains/snowfall in the country till Thursday.
Lowest temperatures recorded were Parachinar and Skardu -07 degree Celsius, Malamjabba and Kalat -06 degree Celsius, Gupis -04 degree Celsius, Bagrote and Astore -02 degree Celsius, Chitral, Dir and Hunza 00 degree Celsius, Murree and Gilgit 01 degree Celsius, Quetta 04 degree Celsius, Lahore 05 degree Celsius, Islamabad and Faisalabad 06 degree Celsius, Muzaffarabad and Multan 07 degree Celsius, Peshawar 08 degree Celsius and Karachi and Hyderabad 14 degree Celsius.
