SEHWAN: Counter terrorism department official (CTD) Raja Umar Khattab rejected claims that the Shrine bomber was a female.
He stated that evidence suggests that the bomber was male and the lengths of hair found at the site most likely belonged to some worshipper at the shrine.
He claimed that a large amount of explosives were not used in the blast as most of the damage was done by ball bearings and bolts hidden in the suicide jacket.
