ISLAMABAD: Cold and dry weather has been reported in major cities of Pakistan, while rain has been witnessed in some parts of KP, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Gilgit Balistan.
Rain occurred at secluded areas in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while cold and dry weather was reported in major cities of the country.
According to the Met office, Rain-thunderstorms (with snow) are expected at a number of places in higher areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir.
While at isolated places in Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions cold weather is expected.
Isolated heavy shower and snow over the hills is also expected in Malakand, Hazara divisions.
The temperature recorded in major cities was Parachinar 06°C, Gupis Kalam -01°C, Skardu and Malamjabba 00°C.
