KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday said that some neighbouring countries are using Afghanistan’s land for terror activities in Pakistan and we should take a stern action to eliminate these terrorists and their patrons.
Addressing big rallies at different villages of Tharparkar, he said that all terrorist groups have the same thinking; to spread lawlessness, fear and anarchy in Pakistan, and sadly some foreign elements are supporting these terrorists to carry out their nefarious activities in Pakistan. He said in this connection some neighbouring countries are using the Afghanistan soil against Pakistan. He said these neighbouring countries do not want to see peace and tranquillity in Pakistan.
Qureshi said that Pakistan hosted Afghan refugees for 30 long years and gave them respect, protection and all other facilities, and also raised a strong voice for them on international forums. He regretted that some elements in Afghanistan are hatching conspiracies against Pakistan. These people train terrorists including children and send them to Pakistan for sabotage activities. He said that now these elements have also started to target the shrines of saints.
He said that if India casts an evil eye on Pakistan, it would taste a shameful defeat and forced to lick dirt. He said his party would play a vanguard role for the protection of our national borders. He said India would face the first stiff resistance from our party in case of any misadventure.
However, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PTI Sindh leader Haleem Adil Sheikh strongly condemned the terrorism in Charsadda and expressed condolence with the bereaved families. They prayed for the early recovery of the injured and also lauded the bravery and valour of gallant policemen who stopped the terrorists from entering the court premises.
