ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar.
During the meeting, the prime minister praised the services rendered by Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar as DG ISI and expressed good wishes for the future.
Pakistan Army on Sunday announced the appointment of Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar as the new DG ISI, replacing Lt Gen Rizwan Akhtar.
