LAHORE: The Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has postponed his planned visit to the Central Police Office, Lahore, citing security reasons.
The premier had to inaugurate the front desks established at the Central Police Office. The desks have been established to provide people with a peaceful environment to lodge their complaints.
The Civil Lines Division Superintendent of Police (SP) Ali Raza who supervised the rehearsal, took strict action against those who were negligent and were not on duty on time.
He also condemned the Shahdara Town Station House Officer Malik Mushtaq for arriving late on duty. Another Assistant Sub-Inspector was suspended for violating the security SOP at Istanbul Chowk.
