RAWALPINDI: Fauji Foods Chairman Khalid Nawaz inaugurated the newly-revamped dairy processing facility of the Fauji Foods Limited at Bhalwal tehsil of the Sargodha district.
“Fauji Foods follows the same core value of the Fauji Foundation – giving back to the community – by not only providing job opportunities at the grass root level but also giving quality products for the end consumer,” he said while speaking on the occasion.
Fauji Foods Limited CE&MD Muhammad Haroon Aslam, CE&MD-designate CFO Aamir Ahsan and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Aatif Nadeer also attended the ceremony.
A complete revamp and modernisation of the former Noon Pakistan Limited has been embarked on by the Fauji Foods Limited (FFL).
This is unique dairy processing facility, first of its kind in Pakistan which has OneStep UHT (ultra-high temperature) technology and packaging machines. The Fauji Foods collaborated with the leading technology experts of the Tetra Pak & Ecolean.
The Fauji Foods is famous for its butter which is a house name for decades. We were delighted to rejuvenate Nurpur as The House of Nurpur whilst improving its quality and packaging. In addition, a new brand in tea creaming segment has been launched with the name of Dostea to cater to the mass market.
Moreover, thrilling new product extensions are in the pipeline to further strengthen the portfolio. While bearing in mind the completion of this vast project, Haroon Aslam said that the project would help to ensure Fauji Foods to compete with the best local and the international food companies in terms of quality and achieve its vision of transforming lives through nourishment.
“Our team has worked very hard, using the best global practices and technology to bring us at par with the industry leaders,” Aatif Nadeer said on the occasion.
He further said that a wholesome product portfolio gives them the opportunity to develop and launch new products.
