SEHWAN: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday transferred SSP Jamshoro Tarique Wilayat and SP Sehwan Rashid Hidayat.
Tanvir Alam Odho was posted as new SSP Jamshoro and ASP Dr Sami Malik was posted as ASP Sehwan. Both Odho and Malik have taken charge of their offices. The CM has also suspended two officials of Auqaf Department, including Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s Shrine manager Zubair Baloch for not coordinating with police for security. Separately, a search operation has also been started. Police, Rangers and Counter Terrorism Department raided various places and arrested seven suspects from Dadu and Sehwan towns. A joint team of police, CTD and law enforcers also arrested two people from Johi. Both are stated to be facilitators of the suicide bomber. A Team of police and Rangers raided a guest house in the Fort area in Sehwan town and arrested five suspects and shifted them to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
