ISLAMABAD: Austrian Ambassador Bargita Bilhar called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Saturday and discussed matters regarding enhancement of bilateral relations.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said Pakistan and Austria shared good relations and there was a dire need to materialize this friendship by enhancing trade and economic relations between the two countries. He said Bhaki Power Plant would start generate electricity from next month.
The Austrian ambassador showed keen interest in investing in hydropower projects and also generating electricity from garbage in Punjab.
She strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan and also condoled over the loss of precious lives.
