PESHAWAR: The funeral prayers for Lieutenant Khawar Shaheed and Nayak Shahzad Shaheed, who were martyred on Thursday during an Intelligence Based Operation in Jani Khel, Bannu, were offered at Peshawar garrison on Friday.
Corps Commander Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt, Commander Army Air Defence Command Lt Gen Zahid Latif and other senior serving civil and military officers and soldiers attended the funeral. The bodies of the martyrs would be taken to their native areas where they would be buried with full military honour.
