SRINAGAR: At least nine Kashmiri teenagers were arrested by Indian forces for taking pictures with Pakistani flags at Pahalgam in Indian-occupied Kashmir, Kashmir Media Service reported.
The arrested boys had travelled to Pahalgam for a picnic when Indian police took them into custody, seized their vehicles and flags. According to KMS,they were also booked under fake cases.
Meanwhile, students in Badgam, Srinagar, and other parts of the territory continued to register protest against Indian forces.
Intense clashes between students and Indian troops erupted after pro-freedom and anti-Indian slogans were raised at SP College in Srinagar. Indian police used brute force, fired tear gas shells on the protesting pupils, injuring many.
An Indian police official was also taken to the hospital after being injured when a stone hit his head during the protest
