SHIKARPUR: Quami Awami Tehreek (QAT) taken out a rally against corruption, unannounced load shedding of electricity and gas, water shortage, terrorism, and bad governance, on the eve of the 5th death anniversary of 14 martyrs, who were killed in firing when armed assailants opened indiscriminate firing on “Mohabat Sindh Rally” in Karachi on 22 May of 2012, which was organized by Nationalist of Sindh.
The rally was led by central president Ayaz Latif Palijo, Sardar Anwar Soomro, the secretary general, divisional president Larkana Zahid Ghaloo, district president Shikarpur Zafar Channa, General Secretary Shikarpur Zahid Bhanbhro, and other leaders here. The rally started from Allah Wala Chowk, and culminated at SS Garden Hall, where a public gathering program was arranged.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Ayaz Latif Palijo paid great homage to the martyrs of the “Mohabat Sindh Rally” and said “those who want to break Sindh into two parts; have distributed themselves into four pieces” while he termed Altaf Hussain as a traitor of Hindustan he strongly criticized the MQM and its policies for Sindh.
Ayaz Latif Palejo expressed his concerns about the unemployment, poverty, bad governance and said that rulers are not sincere to resolve the basic issues of Sindh and its people due to unemployment which was forcing the people to go to other provinces for earning their livelihood because PPP rulers are busy looting the province.
While, Ayaz Latif Palijo termed the deaths of 09 labourers as a conspiracy and said the [Research and Anaylists Wing] RAW, the Indian spy agency, is behind the deaths of labourers.
Mr Ayaz further said that QAT is going to organize a tehreek against corruption, unannounced load shedding of electricity and gas, water shortage, terrorism, and bad governance and he would invite other parties, which were working against corruption and bad governance.
Ayaz claimed that PPP will be defeated in the upcoming general elections due to its poor performance adding the Punjab government has sent a million youths to China for getting benefit from CPEC and one belt one project, but PPP rulers are busy to send money to Dubai, America and other countries.
Furthermore, poor people were selling their children due to extreme poverty, childern are dying in Thar due to extreme malnutrition and villages were burnt to ashes while 9 Gawadar martyrs Sindhi labourers are not provided ambulances because Sindh government failed to perform its responsibilities. On the occasion, Zahid Bhanbhro, Zafar Channa, Din Muhammad Shaikh and others were also spoke.
It should be mentioned here that Mohabat Sindh Rally was organized by Nationalists on 22 May of 2012 in Karachi to demonstrate their unity with Sindh in which 14 innocent persons including Ghizala Batool, Sattar Unar, Shabir Buledi and others lost their lives in firing.
