ISLAMABAD: Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb quashed rumours of any tussle between the government and the judiciary after the remarks of a judge of the Supreme Court and the reaction of the government potrayed the notion of a tussle between the two institutions.
The minister stated that the government felt the judiciary’s remarks had damaged the national identitiy and its reputation across the world.
Marriyum said that remarks against an elected government and PM were unfortunate.
She reiterated that Nawaz Sharif has never tolerated a loose-cannon behavior by any party member.
