Ayesha Ellahi, Shanaz Ramzi and Rubina Kousar. Educate a Girl is a project that aims to educate 1,000 deserving girls in 1,000 cities each – a 1 million girl pledge – a partnership of Dawood Global Foundation and Facebook. The project has already educated 1,000 deserving girls in Karachi and 250 in Lahore. It has been recognised by the World Bank as the top 2% of women-led initiatives in the MENA region.
