ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has approved the appointment of Tariq Mehmood Pasha, an Inland Revenue officer of BPS-22 as Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman.
As per notification issued here, Tariq Mehmood Pasha would also be performing the duties of Secretary Economic Division along with the duties of FBR chairman.
It is worth-mentioning here that former FBR chairman Dr Irshad has retired from his slot on 30 June, 2017 after seeking extension of 66 days in his tenure.
