RAWALPINDI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Sirajul Haq said on Tuesday that the party would have no choice but to gather on the streets if the Supreme Court (SC) fails to do justice in the Panama Leaks case against the family of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
While addressing the Rawalpindi Bar, Haq said that true rule of the people of Pakistan would happen the day Pakistani elections would be free and transparent. He also announced to protest against the current system.
“There are certain people in Pakistan who want to postpone the leaders’ accountability. But, without true accountability, the elections of 2018 would be meaningless,” Haq said.
