ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has declared that Pakistan wants to have friendly relations with all the neighboring countries for prosperity and development in the region.
Addressing the students of Cadet College Hasanabdal on Wednesday, he stated, “Pakistan wants to have good relations with India but it should also extend cooperation in this regard.”
“Pakistan regards Afghanistan as its sincere friend and is keen to work with it for peace, progress and prosperity in the country and Afghanistan should reject elements trying to create misgivings and misunderstandings,” Mamnoon Hussain said. He mentioned that peace in the region is linked with peace in Afghanistan.
“China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is a monument of this century which will change the fate of the region and Pakistan is keen to include all its neighboring contries in the path to progress and development,” remarked Mamnoon Hussain.
Talking about Kashmir issue, President Mamnoon Hussain focused on the Kashmir issue, stating that sacrifices rendered by the new generation in held Kashmir has motivated people to carry on their freedom struggle. He added, “Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of United Nations.”
“Focus should also be paid on moral training of the youth along-with education to attain national progress, “said Mamnoon Hussain. He boosted the new generation to promote national culture and identity.
