ISLAMABAD: Security forces have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Kalaya, Orakzai Agency and Parachinar, Kurram Agency.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the recovered arms and ammunition include rockets, prepared IEDs, explosive material, grenades, bombs, different types of weapons and communication equipment.
The operations were launched on the basis of a credible source. A TTP Markaz, established in underground tunnels in Kalaya, Orakzai Agency, was destroyed during the offense.
The recovery of such a huge cache indicates that the militants were planning a major terrorist attack, which has now been averted.
