PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party Provincial Chairman and KP Senior Minister Sikander Hayat Khan Sherpao urged to all political parties to respect the verdict of the apex court of Pakistan and demanded that all parties should focused on the problems facing by the country rather the point scoring on the decision.
During a press conference held in Peshawar, Sikander Hayat was present and Safeer Ullah Khattak joined QWP at Watan Kor on Thursday.
He expressed that all political parties agreed principally before the Supreme Court verdict that we will abide by the law and will accept the decision of the court, so they should respect the decision and wait for the report of the JIT and their court decision on the reports of the JIT.
In response to a question, the QWP chairman added, “Our party accepts and respects the decision of the court and appreciated the Supreme Court for establishing the JIT for reaching the actual fact and figures to make a historic decision for the better future of the country.”
He denounced the unannounced and prolong load-shedding in the country and demands the federal government to provide its due right in the power to the KP.
“KP is the largest and cheaper producer of the power sector but the federal government on regular basis denied its right which will lead to hurt the federation and sense of deprivation to enhance among the smaller provinces” Sikander Sherpao said.
“We condemn the brutal killing of Journalism student at the hands of some fundamentalist’s fellow students and others and clarified that nobody is allow to disrespectful to the holy personalities of the Islam,” he said.
“Justice on road isn’t acceptable which will lead a way to anarchy in the country, if someone has such complaint of blasphemy toward he or she, they should registered their case in the court of law and they can decide the fate of such a person, “Senior Minister Sikander Sherpao stated.
“Our party believes on religious tolerance toward other religion and islam and asked the provincial government to give the culprits an consummate punishment” Sherpao concluded.
