KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has responded to Hussain Nawaz’s leaked photo and said there is nothing in the picture to be bickered about. The PPP chairman said it could be seen in the photo that Hussain Nawaz was sitting honorably in a chair with a side table, has pencil, paper, file, and all the facilities.
Bilawal remarked that those who claimed the rule of law were now trying to become the oppressed when they were at the receiving end. The leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) talked a lot about the rule of law in the last five years, but is itself not willing to follow it, said Bilawal. Meanwhile, Bilawal condemned the terrorist attacks on the Iranian parliament and the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, in which 12 precious human lives were lost.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the PPP chairman said that these terrorist attacks were threats to peace in the entire region and expressed solidarity with the families of victims and the people of Iran.
Bilawal Bhutto said that the PPP “condemns terrorism in any country” and stressed for joint efforts against terrorism in the region.
