QUETTA: FC Balochistan recovered 1,300 kg ammunition in search operations conducted in areas across the province on Saturday, under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, said ISPR in a statement.
The operation was conducted in Kohlu, Ghazi Nullah as well as Naseerabad.
The recovered ammunition was intended for use in terror strikes in the province, according to a statement issued by the military’s media wing. Security officials also dug out SMG, rockets, grenades, and maps of sensitive sites.
Earlier, four terrorists were killed during a shootout operation by FC Balochistan in Dera Bugti and Kohlu areas.
The suspected terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces as well as miscreant activities.
Mines, explosive material and tools of communication were also recovered during the raid, according to the ISPR.
