ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Shujaat Hussain on Sunday said it seems that in Panamagate the Supreme Court would pinpoint defects and give a right direction to run the country.
He said this while talking to journalists at his residence. To a question about the Senate chairman, he said “I thought Raza Rabbani is a brave man, but he started raising hue and cry and complaining about the ministers that they do not come. As the Senate chairman he should know how to run the House. He has vast powers which he can use.”
Shujaat said further that the Senate chairman can ban the entry of ministers in the House, adding that former chairman Wasim Sajjad had once banned the entry of the attorney general in the House.
“I think what the Senate chairman says has no impact on many ministers and they do not understand the parliamentary language.”
