DADU: The 765th urs of Sufi saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar will start today at his shrine in Sehwan town.
Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair will lay traditional sheet on grave of Sufi saint Hazrat Qalandar Lal shahbaz and he will inaugurate 765 Urs first day.
According to Mela Committee schedule, the Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubir will inaugurate and he would distribute cloths among widow women.
Talking to Daily Times, Syed Ghulam Shah JIlani, advisor to CM Sindh for Oqaf department said that all kinds of facilities like mineral water bottles, water sabeels, heat stroke centers, medical camps and others basic facilities agreements were done by Oqaf department concerned authorities for devotees.
Owing to security leaps of Hazrat Qalandr Lal Shahbaz arrangements were done in tighten security. ASP Dr Sami Malik told Daily Times that Five thousand security police and five hundred rangers personal were deployed for devotee’s security. ASP Dr Sami Malik said for security for women devotee’s women police constables were deployed. He said that 275 CCTV cameras were also installed at main place of shrine and streets.
Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro Munwar Mahisar said that the ban and section 144 was impound on taking bath in Indus river , canals of Manchar lake and heavy traffic jam in Indus highway of Jamshoro-Sehwan. DC Jamshoro also issued a notification of holy day in government departments on May 15 the first day of Urs.
Despite humid weather in Sehwan different parts of country men, women,children and elderly devotees coming for pilgrimages at the shrine of Hazrat Qalandar Lal Shahbaz with slogans of Sakhi Lal Qalandr Mast and they performance traditional dance at the court yard of shrine.
While, some devotees made complaints against SEPCO official’s illegal load shedding in shrine despite paying million of rupees bills.
