LAHORE: Management of private housing society Tariq Gardens has become hurdle in resolving the basic issues of the residents as it started restraining LESCO teams to repair the sub-standard transformers installed in colony.
For the last many days, residents have been facing problem of fluctuations in electricity supply due to which electric household items including refrigerators, TVs and computers went out of order causing heavy financial loss to them. When people complained and LESCO teams reached to check the transformers, the security guards not only misbehaved with officials but also raised hurdles for them in discharging official duty. At last, they had to leave without repairing the faults in electricity supply leaving the people in more miserable situation in this hot and humid weather. The residents of Tariq Gardens are facing hardships due to irresponsible and negligent behavior of the society’s management which failed to provide basic facilities of water, electricity and cleanliness in return of the different fees and development charges.
