HASSAN ABDAL: At least 13 people including women and children were killed and four others injured when a passenger van collided with a truck in Hassan Abdal on Sunday.
The ill-fated van en route to Peshawar from Rawalpindi caught fire after hitting a gas pipeline following collision with the truck.
Rescue teams immediately arrived at the scene and shifted dead bodies and injured persons to Taxila and Hassan abdal Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the traffic accident in Hasan abdal.
In a statement, he directed for providing best treatment facilities to the injured and also sought a report from the administration.
