LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) on Monday held a flag hoisting ceremony at its head office in Lahore to mark the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan. Speaking on the occasion, SNGPL Managing Director Amjad Latif said that Pakistan was a result of unimaginable sacrifices given by the forefathers. “The country can achieve real freedom by practicing Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s motto of ‘Unity, Faith and Discipline’,” he added. Latif stressed the need for unity and harmony in the face of unprecedented circumstances. Commenting on the aims of SNGPL, the managing director said the organisation is aiming to become ‘one of the top companies of Pakistan’. The event was attended by senior executives, members of the staff and a large number of families. Similar celebrations were arranged in regional offices of SNGPL.
