LAHORE: Justice Ejaz Afzal stated that the Supreme Court must not be briefed “in black and white” about the allegations filed against missing persons.
Justice Afzal stressed on the release of innocent people, detained in internment centre. “Punishment must be given to the people who have committed crimes”, he further added.
He maintained that the punishment must be in accordance to law. Justice Afzal expressed irritation for delay in the implementation of court orders.
A two-member SC bench was hearing an application filed by the chairperson of the Defense of Human Rights Organization, Amina Janjua.
