LAHORE: In the wake of countrywide protests against the government’s crackdown against religious protesters in the federal capital, demonstrators targeted the residence of former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
As per the reports, at least one person lost his life as the clashes outside the former minister’s residence escalated.
Protesters also set a furniture storage near his residence on fire. Rescue teams instantly arrived at the spot and tried to extinguish the fire.
Unidentified persons opened fire at a vehicle and broke its windshield. The violent demonstrators were pelting stones at Nisar’s residence.
