KASUR: Police arrested another suspect on Thursday in rape and murder case of a minor girl in Kasur from a residence close to the dumpster where the victim’s dead body was found.
The suspect, identified as Ranjha, was arrested after information received from Umar, a second suspect who was arrested from Defence Bhatta Chowk in Lahore.
According to the police records, over 15 suspects have been arrested and DNA tests of 449 people have been conducted so far, as the case enters second week of investigation, reported GEO news.
On January 10, dead body of a 7-year-old from Kasur, who was raped and later strangled to death, was found in a pile of trash.
