ISLAMABAD: The hearing of the case of ex-federal minister Hamid Saeed Kazmi is going on in Islamabad High Court. The case is being heard by Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurang, reported Daily Times.
Kazmi’s lawyer declared, on the inquisition of Justice Gul, that the orders of vindication of the ex-minister are not being invalidated by any other court.
The court has asked for a written reply from the Director General of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
Hamid Saeed has filed a petition that the inquiry against him by FIA is illegal as the high court has already absolved him from all cases and his name is no more on the exit control list.
Saeed further added that his accounts and properties that were sealed during the inquiry are not yet recovered, despite that he is absolved of the cases. He appealed that the court should disapprove of the inquiries of FIA and clear his property and accounts.
The case was adjourned for two weeks.
