SHIKARPUR: Another injured of Thursday firing, Murad Ali Jatoi succumbed to his injuries, during treatment at Khanpur Taluka Hospital on Friday. On Thursday there was exchange of fire between two groups of Saad Khanani Jatoi and Badhani Jatoi tribesmen over the ownership of agricultural land at Pir Dost Muhammad Badhani Jatoi area of Khanpur. According to DSP Khanpur, Nazeer Ahmed Lashari that a clash occurred between two groups of Jatoi, on Thursday, which resulted, two Jatoi tribesmen identified as Abdul Kareem Jatoi, belonging to Saad Khanani Jatoi was killed while another Suleeman Jatoi belonging to Badani Jatoi group was also died in straight firing, DSP added. Besides, three Jatoi tribesmen Murad Ali Jatoi, Shahnawaz and Mureed Jatoi belonging to Saad Khani Jatoi sustained bullet injuries, whereas seven other persons including Pathan, Dilsher, Kareem, Khan, Metilo, Meer Baig, and Wadho Jatoi belonging to Badani Jatoi group sustained bullet injuries in rivals firing, DSP said. Murad Ali Jatoi was admitted in Khanpur hospital and succumbed to his injuries on Friday, DSP confirmed. As a result of incident, two persons of Saad Khanani group and one person of Badani Jatoi group have killed in firing while total eight injured are admitted in hospital, police said. Whereas, the local residence remained in their houses due to fear and tense situation developed between two groups of Jatoi community persons. Neither an FIR was registered nor any culprit was reported to arrest till this story was filed.
