ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey, carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 46% Pakistanis believe that most noble work remains unrecognised and unrewarded.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces were asked, “I will read a few statements. Please tell if you agree or disagree with the following? (Most people do good work which remains unrecognised and unrewarded)”.In response to this question, 46% agreed that most people do good work, which does not receive any recognition, 36% disagreed, while 18% did not know or did not wish to respond.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1871 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 26 – January 2, 2017. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
