SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, the pro-freedom leadership has slammed the puppet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, saying that she and other pro-India local politicians are responsible for the prevailing situation in the territory.
Mehbooba Mufti in her remarks said, “It is highly painful to see the young boys losing their lives,” asking the mujahideen to surrender.
The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Chairman Syed Ali Gilani commenting on her remarks in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Pro-India parties work for strengthening Indian occupation. It is quite strange that on one hand they are killing our youth and on the other, they are desperate to enact the election drama for their petty gains.” He said that these politicians were shedding crocodile tears and playing deceit. “They are not sincere otherwise they would have disassociated from pro-India politics,” he added.
Syed Ali Gilani said that India had lost its battle and through its henchmen was carrying out its game plan in the territory. “These politicians are worthless and don’t deserve our vote and support,” he said.
The Hurriyet Forum Chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that one fails to make sense of Mufti’s expression of grief over the killing when, as the so-called CM, she is completely responsible for the killings. He said, “We don’t know how long we have to fill our graveyards with the bodies of our children and youth killed mercilessly to consolidate the occupation.”
The Mirwaiz said youth, in the course of their deep desire to end oppression, become the direct target of the Indian state terrorism. “Does Mehbooba not hear the chants of freedom slogans of hundreds and thousands of people while attending the funeral prayers of the martyrs?” he asked.
The illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement in Srinagar said that the puppet chief minister who issued orders to forces and police could not become a judge by shedding crocodile tears. “By accusing the oppressed instead of stopping her killer forces, she has crossed every limit of political decency,” he said, adding that Mehbooba being the so-called chief minister and home minister was responsible for issuing orders to troops and police.
Asking people to remain vigilant, the JKLF Chairman said, “The so-called Indian elections only strengthen the occupation and the hands of oppressors. We as a living nation should stay away from any kind of participation in these farce elections.”
